Runway Nail Report: Essie for Jeremy Scott Spring/Summer 2020 Collection

Essie brought out a bit of colorful pop art for the Jeremy Scott Spring/Summer 2020 Collection. The colorful mani perfectly complimented the 80's rocker-chic collection.

Manicurist Miss Pop was inspired by the "geometric shapes, metallic western boots, animal prints, and saturated colors" found in Jeremy Scott's spring/summer 2020 show. Here's how to achieve this runway nail look for yourself:

step 1: apply here to stay base coat for a smooth polish application
step 2: dab “random splotches” of mod square (electric pink), in the cab-ana (vibrant aqua), butler please (bright blue), and hay there (buttery yellow) across 80% of the nail
step 3: use a detail brush dipped in licorice or no place like chrome to carve out confetti-like shapes
step 4: for the “squiggle” design, apply two coats of licorice across the entire nail
step 5: use a detail brush dipped in no place like chrome to create the shapes
step 6: layer over the shapes with a detail brush dipped in mod square, hay there, butler please, or in the cab-ana
step 7: once dry, set with speed.setter top coat
step 8: finish by moisturizing cuticles with apricot cuticle oil
