Get Lucky this St. Patrick’s Day with Red Carpet Manicure

Shamrocks and four leaf clovers… St. Patrick’s Day is finally here and Red Carpet Manicure has just what you need to get in the spirit of celebration! Whether you’re looking for a pot of gold or channeling your inner leprechaun, Red Carpet Manicure has two great mani styles to get you feeling “lucky.” Check out step-by-step tutorials on these two St. Patrick Day nail art looks from Red Carpet Manicure Nail Technician, Candace Szpeich for using both gel and nail lacquer polishes.

Leprechaun Belt (GEL)

  1. First, apply Prep and Structure. Then cure under the LED light.
  2. Apply 2 to 3 coats of "Emmy-rald Winner" curing after each coat.
  3. Using a striper brush, apply a thick line of "Black Stretch Limo" across the lower half of the nail and cure.
  4. Add a belt (square) over the middle of the black line using "I Am So Honored" and cure.
  5. Last, apply "Brilliance" and cure.

Pot O'Gold (LACQUER)

  1. First, apply one coat of "Clingy Base Coat".
  2. Next, apply 2 coats of "My Lucky Charm."
  3. Paint a black pot on the bottom right of nail using the nail lacquer version of "Black Stretch Limo."
  4. Then, using a striper brush, paint a rainbow using your favorite RCM nail lacquer shades such as orange "Flirt Alert", royal blue "RSVP", purple "9 Inch Heels", red "Red Carpet Exclusive", lavender "Romantic Comedy", or a metallic rose gold "Mink Coat".
  5. Add gold glitter pieces from RCM’s "Gems and Jewels - Golden Dust" collection to the top of the pot/base of rainbow.
  6. Last, apply one coat of "Shine On Top Coat".

Fall Head Over Heels for Red Carpet Manicure This Valentine's Day

Whether you love or love-to-hate Valentine's Day, Red Carpet Manicure offers both flirty and non-conformist Valentine’s Day looks. For those who love all things love, try a classic heart manicure and for you anti-Valentine's Day, nothing shows that message more than a black mani.

Flirty Nail Art

1. First, apply prep and structure. Then cure.
2. Next apply three coats of “White Hot” curing after each coat.
3. Using an RCM dotting and marbling tool, create a “dot” outline in the shape of a heart using “Leading Lady”, and then cure.
4. Using shades such as “Take A Bow”, “Ooo La Liscious”, “Leading Lady”, “Red Carpet Reddy”, and “In Style”, fill in the heart with dots of various sizes. Cure after every few hearts to prevent colors from blending.
5. Add a few flakes of silver or gold glitter for depth.
6. Lastly, apply "Brilliance" and cure.

Anti-Valentine’s Day

1. First, apply prep and structure. Then cure.
2. Next apply two coats of “Black Stretch Limo” curing after each coat.
3. Lastly, apply Brilliance and cure.

Which side of the Valentine's Day spectrum do you fall on and which mani will you be rocking?
