Red Carpet Manicure at NYFW - Christian Siriano Spring 2014 Collection

Celebrity manicurist and Red Carpet Manicure brand ambassador, Lisa Logan collaborated with Siriano to create a custom, color-block manicure that highlighted the theme of the collection - inspired by a recent trip to Isla Mujeres, the "Island of Women".

“After seeing the colors and prints and collaborating with Christian, I knew we had to do something that was as dramatic and powerful in the lightest way possible to match the collection itself,” said Logan. She prepped each nail with “Fake Bake” as a base color, and intricately colorblocked the nail with small boxes made with “The Perfect Pair”.  “White Hot” was layered underneath, adding an extra pop to the neon yellow.

Ruffian Launches First-Ever Exclusive Nail Lacquers with Birchbox

Birchbox has just announced an exciting new launch of Nail Lacquers with Ruffian. The Nail Lacquer Collection is an exclusive partnership between Birchbox and the design brand. Nordstrom Fall 2013 Nail Polish Collection

Silly me, I didn't know Nordstrom had their own nail polish collection. That's what I get for being away so long but I'm more than happy to get back in the swing of things. Anyway, the Nordstrom-branded nail polish collection currently has 26 individual nail colors and two nail color trio sets - Metallic Mini Trio and a Creamy Mini Trio. Below are shades from their Fall 2013 collection, a set of creamy hues that go from pale to dark.

The collection's colors, which are featured above from left to right, are Cherry Blossom, Grey Haze, Insomnia, and Make it Matter Matte Top Coat.

Spotlight: Gelish Soak-Off Gel Polish

I had the pleasure of getting a fab mani with a gel nail brand that is new to me called Gelish, the soak-off gel polish (a separate post will be up on my mani soon). With 130 gorgeous, long-lasting nail polish shades, and never-before seen packaging, you will never forget this extraordinary brand.
