Ruffian Launches First-Ever Exclusive Nail Lacquers with Birchbox

Birchbox has just announced an exciting new launch of Nail Lacquers with Ruffian. The Nail Lacquer Collection is an exclusive partnership between Birchbox and the design brand. This is Ruffian's first Nail Lacquer collection which launches August 15th. To celebrate this partnership, Birchbox crowdsourced votes for the polish shades via their Facebook community on February 28th. The five shades up for voting were based on Ruffian's Spring 2014 collection, and the three winning shades will be featured on the runway during Ruffian's Fashion Show at NYFW this September. The above pictured collection, named “The Crowdsourced Collection”: Delirium, Fox Hunt, Hedge Fund, Lady Alabaster, and Venus in Fur. With 4000 votes in, the winners are:

 

• Delirium: The voluptuous blue and purple velvety petals of the African Violet inspired the Delirium of this color. 

• Fox Hunt: Inspired by the thoroughbred beauty of the red fox; Fox Hunt's savage richness will make everyday upper crust. 

• Hedge Fund: Nothing is more inspiring than the color of money, and Hedge Fund is impossible to counterfeit.

 The lacquers will be sold for $10.00 individually and the trio for $24.00 exclusively on birchbox.com. The new lacquer collection will also feature the “The Classics Collection” of signature shades Ruffian Red, Ruffian Naked, and Ciré Noir.
